On 17th May, the 2016 China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Service Industry Development White Paper was published in Beijing. In the White Paper, the output value of satellite navigation and positioning service reached to above 200 billion, which increased 22.06% then 2015. In which Beidou contributed 70% to the core industry.

According to the statistics, the total sales volume of domestic navigation and positioning terminal products is more than 530 million in 2016, including 510 million smart cellphones with satellite navigation positioning service in which Beidou takes up more than 30%, 8 million vehicle navigation terminals, and 6 million monitoring terminals.
